About the Choir
In Sacris is a mixed chamber choir founded in March 2000 by Boriana Naydenova. Today it is led by Denitsa Kaburova. The choir usually sings a cappella and, when the music requires, performs with a symphony orchestra. Its size ranges from 5 singers (soloists only) to 30, depending on the concert and the music.
Conductor
Denitsa Kaburova
Born in Vidin in 1976. She graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music in 2000, majoring in Choral Conducting in the class of Prof. Krum Maksimov. She received her doctorate in musicology in 2006, and since 2023 she has been principal conductor of the Petar Dinev Sofia Chamber Choir and of the chamber choir In Sacris.

12–15 June 2025. International festival for choirs and orchestras. In Sacris is among the participating choirs from Bulgaria.

Verdi's Requiem with Choralspace, Berlin
30 June 2024. Performance in the main hall of the Berlin Philharmonie in an international project with a choir of around 1,000 singers. Conductor: Sergi Gili Solé.

Handel, Coronation Anthems, Berlin
6 March 2022. A Choralspace concert at the Berlin Philharmonie, conducted by Simon Carrington, with about 200 participants from seven European countries.
